Committee September 26, 2025 alleged : In
November 2024, the North Carolina
Agricultural and Technical State University
Board of Trustees  approved
a proposed lease of approximately 3,500
square feet ($84,000 annually) at Gateway
South Campus for the Division of Strategic
Partnership and Economic Development. This
figure was a preliminary estimate used for
initial planning. Following detailed space
planning, the required square footage has
been finalized at 4,476 square feet in the
amount of $107,424 annually. The space will
be occupied by the Office of Strategic
Partnerships and Economic Development at
2901 East Gate City Boulevard, Greensboro,
NC 27401. Business Affairs Committee
September 26, 2025 indicate alleged lease
was included in the meeting material.
Business Affairs Committee approved the
lease which was authorized by the full board
via the consent agenda. Video
